Additional Tournament Information

  1. Matches will be the best two out of three sets with a 12-point tiebreaker played at 6-6 of each set. USTA rules and point penalty system will be in effect.

  2. Please report to the tournament desk 15 minutes prior to each match. After your match, please report your scores immediately, and ask for your next match time.

  3. Ten-minute warm-up for your first match of the day. Five-minute warm-up for subsequent matches.

  4. As a courtesy to the spectators, please use the scorecards. ACAC (nearby club) will be used for warm-up courts; call for booking 378-1616.

  5. Dress Code: Appropriate Tennis Attire to include shoes will be required at all times between on/off court.

  6. A Players’ Hospitality Skybox for players, sponsors, and officials will be located near the Large Pavilion. Refreshments, fresh fruit, and bagels will be provided at all times during the Championships.

  7. Players and spectators may also purchase items from the Tournament Grill. Cash and Salisbury Country Club member charges will be the only forms of payment accepted.

  8. Player/Sponsor Reception Party will be held Thursday evening, July 15, from 7–9 p.m. during play, in the Food Tent. Players may bring one (1) guest to this party ($12.00 fee for each additional guest). This party will be catered by the Salisbury Country Club.

  9. A keg of beer will be provided free of charge for all players/sponsors throughout the tournament.

  10. Pro Shop: Stringing services are available. Cash and checks accepted.

  11. Locker Rooms: Men’s and Ladies’ locker rooms are located in the indoor building, down the hallway, to the right.

  12. Outside Restrooms: Men’s and Ladies’ are located near the Large Pavilion.

  13. Entry Fees: Are not refundable once the draws are made.

  14. Prize Money: Breakdown is a part of this brochure. Amateur and Collegiate players may accept expense money up to the amount of $100 gas money (must turn in receipts) and can cover Entry Fee to Tournament.

  15. A sports trainer will be onsite throughout the tournament.

  16. A massage therapist will be onsite at times posted at front desk. Players and sponsors will get free massages during tournament hours.
